Product Specification and Requirements.
The Pure Air (3) was developed with a team of just 3 multidisciplined product design engineers. One of my roles required drafting of specification and requirement documentation (robustness, safety and lighting, motor power, IP rating) for a contract manufacturer. If you wish to develop a product quickly, leveraging the engineering capabilities of external contract manufacturers is key.

Industrial Design & CMF.
The multidisciplinary nature of this project saw me managing some of the industrial design of the Pure Air (3). This included working closely with David Leonard, Linkedin.com/in/david-leonard-99976093/, the in-house industrial designer to fit the Pure Air (3) within the carefully constructed design language at Pure Electric.

Out-of-Box Experience
I designed the boxes for the Air (3), Advance and Advance Flex to present the product to the user, meaning they did not have to lift the product during their quick start journey. The instructions for assembly were printed inside the box, making the process obvious for the user.
